I have been going to see these HANDSOME HOLLYWOOD MEN since OCTOBER 2011 for my Birthday. I literally have never heard of “The Hollywood Men” before and I literally thought the girls and I were going to see a play. Once we got there I was quickly surprised. I am not an easy girl to turn on and really I am the pickiest person I know. Anyways, once the show started I was very much entertained. I was amazed how much effort was put into the production of the show. The men are great. But the moment I saw Niko I melted. That was it. I never took my eyes off him and literally did not care to even watch the rest of the show. I thought he was the most beautiful man. Extract that. He is the most beautiful man I’ve ever laid eyes on. I decided to get one of the lap dances and of course I wanted him. It was not raunchy at all and I did expect a lot more. He just literally asked me a couple questions while I kept telling him how amazing he was. Maybe, it was because I look really young for 25. I don’t know. But it has been 3 days since I went and I am still thinking of him. What an amazing place and yes, very classy. Classier then I could have expected. What a great place for a night out with girls. nervous, I was called up on stage and was LUCKY enough to be part of one
of the best performances of my life. Not only are all of the men gentle,

I was really impressed with everything. You feel catered to from the second
you walk in the door! Dan was awesome, he came by our table and checked
on us a few times during the evening to make sure we were having a good
time (even though one of my friends had issues with one of the Highlands
doormen and almost didn't get in, Dan saved the day!). The second thing
I noticed was the waiters, I couldn't help but think that any of them
could be on stage too, they were all so nice and VERY CUTE!! Again, I
felt taken care of. And THEN, (oh I get excited just thinking about it)
THEN the guys took the stage. MMMMMMMMM! Each one of them like a sculpture
come to life, living works of art: sophisticated, charming, heaven-sent
sex GODS with great moves and enormous, um, stage presence (among other
things). Especially the host, he was HOT, but its hard to pick a favorite,
they were all marvelous. (I gotta confess though, I have a thing for Austin)
The whole show was WONDERFULLY choreographed, very classy and risque at
the same time, the music really set the mood (no cheesy porn music here!)
and there was an atmosphere of raw, sexual energy. I was screaming and
shreaking in delight the whole night! And after the show I got 3 VERY
NICE lap dances from 3 of the guys (talk about up close and personal!).
What a great end to a great show! What's funny is that my guy was kinda
iffy about me going to your show, but once I got home (I was in such a
good mood from the show and I took it out on him) he had no misgivings,

I've been put in charge of planning my girlfriend's Bachelorette party, which is to be around the end of April. My friends have heard that your show was very good but we had been unable to find you until last weekend. I went to a Bachelorette planning website and asked if they knew how to reach you. To put it mildly, the woman I talked to had nothing good to say about you and kept trying to refer me to another show that performs where you used to perform. I won't mention any names but I think she's working in tandem with this other show because she gave them such an overly-positive recommendation. I called the number she gave me on this other show and talked to a guy who said they put you out of business and that your show wasn't worth seeing, yada, yada, yada. I finally found your website through another friend and, out of curiosity, decided to be my own judge by seeing both shows. Since the other show only performs on Saturday nights, I came to see yours first on Friday. as expected, the show was absolutely amazing, and very tasteful. It's exactly what I would like for my friend's last night out. The club you perform in is beautiful, very upscale, with large CLEAN bathrooms! (a big plus!). After the show, my friend and I stayed for the new promotion "Club Heaven" and had a wonderful time. On Saturday we went down to where you used to perform to see your"competition", if you can call them that! What a let down. There was no parking, and the show, if you can call it that started late, the guys on stage were definitely NOT the ones in the advertisement nor were there as many as promised. The bathrooms were gross and small. All the guys did was walk through the crowd and solicit lap dances like in a female strip club. (TACKY!!!) What routines they did, were very cheesy. My friend and I even got attitude for not wanting a private dance! When we got up to leave, the manager asked why we were leaving so early and even offered us our money back to stay. As far as I concerned, free is overpriced for that place. Needless to say, I won't be patronizing that establishment, and for that matter, the bridal planning person who referred them anytime soon. I mean, besides a group of men who are prettier and smoother than any of the women you know? I imagine strawberry smoke filling a room as a team of romance novel cover boys jiggle around in spandex and try to keep their flowing locks from sticking to their neighbor’s lip-gloss. Not a pretty picture. So, when I first heard about The Hollywood Men, an all-male erotic revue, I was naturally a little wary. I am, however, always up for a bit of sexy intrigue, and this sounded just intriguing enough to get me out for the night. So, I convinced a friend to join me, enticing her with promises of an apple martini and some possibly tasty men. I myself was still unsure about the show, but feeling lucky. When we arrived, we were greeted by a gentlemanly topless cowboy who took our drink order and showed us to our table. I felt surprisingly comfortable, listening to the music and watching people flow in. Admittedly, I was curious about the crowd. Stories of older desperate women dancing on chairs and giving each other “high fives” while their husbands pretend they are at Tupperware parties flooded my mind, but were quickly erased when I realized that the club was filling up with lovely twenty- and thirty-something women, simply out for a night of fun. Another surprising factor—they were all women. Where were all the gay men? The club is located in West Hollywood. When I asked the originator Scott Layne about his reasoning behind the locale, he had a surprisingly sweet answer: “If a woman I loved were heading out for a night on the town with her girlfriends, I would want to rest assured that they would be safe. Can you think of a safer area for a group of women to enjoy themselves?” Good point. For those of you who are unfamiliar with West Hollywood, my best friend likes to refer to it as the area for “boy’s night out.” Get it? So now I was really confused - good location, simple parking, friendly waiter, pretty young girls, and no gay men. My preconceptions were just flying out the windows. If I didn’t know what to expect before, I was really in trouble now. This was when I think I lost my mind. The problem is that I feel like I SHOULD NOT be that woman. I was raised to believe that in order to be respected as a cerebral, industrious being, I would have to abandon any personality traits that might indicate that I am a sexual person. Heaven forbid anyone think of me as sensual; as a woman this is the professional kiss of death. We are trained to fit into a man’s world and be accepted - but in that case, isn’t this a huge double standard? Why can the boys hit a strip club after work to unwind, but when I do it, I’m a smutty tart? Just so you know, I only agonized over this for about seven seconds in between songs. My friend and I had the best time. I know this because when we left the show we were giddy with excitement the way we were in middle school when the new Christian Slater poster arrived at Hot Topic. We walked down the street and had a slurpee, reminiscing about the show and debating on which guy we would want to walk into our class reunion with, or have rescue our kitty from a burning tree. We each definitely had a favorite, and if they had been selling stickers of the guys, I may have one bought one for my Trapper Keeper. So the next time your girlfriend calls you up and wants to sip coffee and talk about her depressing life, don’t take her to the Hollywood Men. But after that coffee, when you have moved on to tequila, and are ready to see grown men strutting about in boxer briefs, and cowboys that will make you love Texans just a little bit more, you know where to go.
